Tauranga Parents Centre was formed in 1968 and is part of a nationwide, not for profit, volunteer based organisation that has been setup by parents, for parents. TPC believes that parenting is everything and that great parents will grow great children! TPC is made up from a team of volunteers who work with parents to equip them with the best in knowledge and skills and support so that they can be best parents they can possibly be. TPC provides Childbirth Education (aka antenatal classes) and Parent Education classes for families.

Classes range from Baby and You, First Aid and CPR, to Toilet Training. TPC also facilitates your Childbirth Education Class to encourage participation and catch ups when the babies arrive.

Would you like to volunteer for Tauranga Parents Centre? TPC meets once a  month for two hours.  Roles on the Committee vary depending on how much time you can commit – from 2-3 hours a month to as much as you wish!  From coordinating classes, preparing Grant Proposals, being involved in Marketing or social media, or just opening up for classes, TPC are happy to have you!
