Waihi Beach Acorn Fund
The Acorn Foundation has established an endowment fund called the Waihi Beach Acorn Fund.
All donations to the Waihi Beach Acorn Fund will provide ongoing support to charities and community groups in Waihi Beach, forever.
Acorn’s Local Impact Funds build community through, grassroots initiatives such as sports club events, exercise groups, school projects, gardening groups and more.
Donations of any amount can be made to the fund, at any time. Donations will be pooled and invested with other Acorn donor funds in perpetuity. A portion of the investment returns are paid out annually.
Distributions will be allocated by a local committee assigned by Acorn for the direct benefit of charities and community groups in Waihi Beach.
