50 local community groups have set up a Community Group Fund with the Acorn Foundation, to help secure the future of their organisation.

Like individual donor funds, their money is pooled and invested, and each year the investment returns are re-invested to help grow the fund. Once their fund reaches the distributions threshold of $50,000, a portion of the investment income is distributed back to them each year.

As the capital in the fund is preserved, the organisation can rely on a sustainable, passive income stream every year forever!
